If you use the word philosophy to mean heresy, then you are going to look with hostility upon philosophy, if, for whatever reason, you consider yourself orthodox. It is a different word for a good reason, but I don’t think this reason is always clear to all persons who have recourse to these terms. This confusion then leads to a certain hostility, a suspicion expressed in terms that are not at all vague, but which is caused by a situation the objects of which unfortunately are.
