Did you build the Kindle edition of your book, or did Amazon do it? For whatever reason, when I read it on my Android tablet and try to switch to low-light mode (white text on a black background, easier on the eyes), it doesn’t work right. The margins go black, but there are white boxes under each paragraph, which defeats the whole purpose.

/ August 14, 2012When you submit the text to Kindle, they have a step by step thing to set it up right. You do it in Word, it is like a word document and then you convert it to html. The Kindle cloud reader thing comes out fine on my computer. The book should work like any other kindle book.

/ August 14, 2012I’d appreciate that. I have InDesign and Amazon’s plugin for building Kindle books from InDesign; maybe I could import the text there, and see if I can’t build a version that looks right on Android. If it works, I’ll send it to you.
