#1 – Nobody has ever made dissidens’ points like the people he’s after who come to argue with him. Not even dissidens.

#2 – I think it is the funniest thing in the world when Joe and dissidens start their comments to this self-styled thinker with his own designation.

#3 – What o what can have motivated this personage to style himself “thinker”?

#4 – I was thinking, not long ago, that good blogging seems to have perished! Maybe I should call myself “thinker” as punishment.

#5 – Speaking of good blogging and thinkers, I went onto another blog similarly designated for some more delight this afternoon.

#6 – If you rummage around the blogs of some of my relations (get your own links), you’ll find some more thinking about Remonstrans.

#7 – I Love Remonstrans.

And there is the sober and serious side to this as well. One laughs and still one has to shake one’s head. You have probably all seen what Todd is talking about. This business on Remonstrans would all be that much more funny if only it were only the Lord’s anointed boys (the ones with the incommunicable attribute of discernment and the unparalleled instinct for survival) whose ruin we spoke of. I was also reminded today how our lives are a vapor. Nothing can make us so serious as the four final things, and these are the things at stake. How crucial it is that we learn what things matter and what things do not.

I do not think even the Middle Ages were as interesting as our times, so replete with everything.
